We are an independent company that has been specialising in converting home videos at our studio in Cardiff Bay since 2012. Our director and principle technician has more than 20 years of video production and post production experience, which have helped us create the best possible quality workflow for our customers videos. We pride ourselves at producing professional, bespoke products that meet the individual requirements of our customers. All our conversions are done in house, we don’t contract out to third parties and none of our customers precious memories are sent away for conversion or processing at any other locations. We use only the best available devices for playing and converting our customers media and everything is maintained to the highest possible standard. We have a large number of vintage video players and cameras to ensure that we are able to playback and convert as wide a range of formats as possible in the best possible quality.
All our conversions are monitored by staff and there are no automated processes which allows us to maintain a high level of quality control. Once a video has been digitised it is finalised on our professional video editing suit to make sure out clients have the best possible quality for their finished product, whether that is as a digital file or on a physical DVD or Bluray.
Whilst we do accept orders by post we find that the vast majority of our customers like that we have a physical studio they are able to see in person and experience the personal touch that we are able to offer. Many of our customers have questions about the process that their tapes or film reels will undergo and we are able to discuss and even demonstrate to them, offering piece of mind that their precious family memories will be stored securely and treated with the upmost care. We even offer a facility for customers to view their tapes before getting them converted as the vast majority of our customers no longer have a camera or VCR they are able to view their tapes on. We have a screen and VHS player (as well as a few retro video game consoles!) set up at all times in our waiting room, with a range of other tape players are available on request.
